I’m a Googler building CodeRhapsody (coderhapsody). The Gemini 2.5 Pro client I’ve built manages to get Gemini to repeat itself typically a few tomes, sometimes forever, simply by having it read all my MarkDown docs in my docs directory. It launches reading them as parallel tool calls, and typically will infinitely write the same sentences over and over in its streaming response until I kill it.
I’m happy to add Google devs to the private git repo if they want to take a look.
Note that the same system prompt and tools work great with Claude Sonnet 4.5.
