Gemini in an infinite hallucinogenic loop

I’m now dealing with yet another bug in the code assistant that’s causing an infinite execution loop. The Gemini 3.1 process cannot even perform a simple color edit on the application template.

I only asked that you edit the tab border color in the configuration panel’s configuration.tsx file to blue.And it gets stuck in this endless loop of trying to finish. Seriously, using Gemini 3.1 is a pain.

Experienced it a couple of times. Mostly with Gemini Flash in planning mode.

Just, stop/kill PROMT. Then restart with other model.

For simple UI edits, use Gemini Flash or Sonnet in fast mode. Gemini 3.1 is overkill for simple tasks like UI edits in most cases.
