I am using Gemini CLI and have started encountering the following error when sending requests:
{
“code”: 429,
“message”: “No capacity available for model gemini-2.5-pro on the server”
}
My requests have not exceeded any usage limits. Gemini CLI notifications mention that accounts flagged for abuse may be restricted, but I have not engaged in any policy-violating activity. I am unsure if my account has been mistakenly flagged.
I have been unable to locate a way to submit feedback or a support ticket regarding this potential issue.
Could anyone advise:
How to check if my account has been flagged for abuse?
How to contact Google Cloud support or submit a ticket for this specific issue?
This issue is not limited to a single model — I am also experiencing similar 429 errors when requesting other models (e.g., gemini-3.1-pro-preview, gemin-3-flash-preview).
I have the same issue. I barely used more than 8% usage yesterday and still got hit with 429 all day. Waited till the 24h reset and still I am getting 429, on both gemini-3.1-pro-preview and gemin-3-flash-preview.
I am in Japan and have a Ultra subscription with same the issue for about two weeks already.
This means two weeks that I get just always error 429 to every single model I try on gemini-cli. I already tried gemini cli stable, preview and nightly and I also tried gemini -P {message}. Absolutely nothing works, on cli it just hangs via terminal command is 429. At this point Im just giving money away
When I do /stats session, nothing appears anymore, no model, quota, usage nothing. I cant debug this, I have no error message apart from the 429 and I tried google support twice, they dont know and just redirect me to somewhere else, Ive open an issue on github which I just got completely ignored
