I absolutely understand that it’s not reasonable for an AI coding agent to have unlimited use based on a $20 or even $100 subscription. However, if I’m perfectly happy to pay for my gemini-3.5-flash token use at the posted API rate, there should be an option to do so. I’m going through a forced conversion from gemini-cli, which had this feature. What’s my path for using the tool for development as part of my profession if I’m not allowed to pay for my usage except through a subscription service?
