Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a sudden and critical issue with the Gemini API for audio transcription, and I’m looking for confirmation or a solution from the community.

Since yesterday (Dec 10th), the timestamps generated for SRT subtitles by the Gemini API have become massively inaccurate, misaligned using the exact same setup (gemini-2.5-pro and gemini-3-pro-preview) that worked perfectly fine before.

Has anyone else noticed a sudden and drastic regression in timestamp accuracy for audio transcription using Gemini in the last 24-48 hours?
