Gemini API is returning a 503 UNAVAILABLE high demand error continuously for more than 24 hours, and I need help understanding the cause and expected resolution time

Hello Google Gemini Team,

I have been continuously receiving the following error while using your API model since yesterday:

“503 UNAVAILABLE: This model is currently experiencing high demand. Spikes in demand are usually temporary. Please try again later.”

It has been more than 24 hours, but the issue is still occurring consistently. I understand that temporary traffic spikes can happen, but since the problem has persisted for such a long time, I would appreciate it if you could help me understand the actual cause of this issue. Could you please let me know whether this is related to my account, API configuration, regional availability, or a service side problem, and if possible provide an estimated timeline for when it is expected to be resolved?

Thank you for your support. I look forward to your response.

Hello @Shah_Ram ,

503 errors are due to our services being temporarily overloaded. Please see this pinned post for suggestions on how to handle this.

Can you tell me when this issue will be resolved because I have to complete the project.

hey @Shah_Ram , we have client that hits 503 95% of the time the past 2 weeks
the service is working for us or other clients. but this one specific client is having major issues and we need support, the prepaid for tier 2 and are not receiving the service the paid for.
