I am writing to report an issue with accessing Gemini 4 Argon in Google Antigravity 2.0 on my Windows 11 computer.
I have an active Google AI Pro subscription, but Gemini 4 Argon is unavailable in my model selector. I expected to be able to access the model based on Google’s published information about its availability for eligible Google AI Pro subscribers.
Could you please clarify the following?
- Is Gemini 4 Argon currently available to Google AI Pro subscribers in India using Antigravity 2.0?
- Does eligibility differ between directly purchased Google AI Pro subscriptions and subscriptions obtained through promotional or partner offers?
- Is there a specific Antigravity version or application interface required to access Gemini 4 Argon?
- If my subscription is eligible, could you investigate why the model is unavailable on my account and advise me on how to resolve the issue?
I would appreciate clarification of the applicable eligibility requirements and any necessary troubleshooting steps.
My details:
- Operating system: Windows 11
- Application: Google Antigravity 2.0
- Subscription: Google AI Pro
- Issue: Gemini 4 Argon is unavailable in the model selector
I have provided the screenshot of the model selector:
Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
A Google AI Pro subscriber,
SoundTrackMaster.
Hi @SoundTrackMaster,
Thank you for reaching out.
Here are the answers to each of your questions:
- Availability in India: Yes, India is a supported country (Geographical availability FAQ), and Gemini 4 Argon is available to eligible paid (non-trial) Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscribers in India.
- Directly Purchased vs. Promotional or Partner Subscriptions: Yes, eligibility differs. Gemini 4 Argon, Claude Sonnet 5.5 (thinking), and Claude Opus 5.5 (thinking) are available on Google AI Pro for paid (non-trial) subscriptions only. Free trials, device promotions, and partner-bundled memberships (such as Jio) are provisioned as promotional plans and do not include Gemini 4 Argon or Claude 5.5, which is why your screenshot shows the
Notice badge next to the 4.6 models and Unavailable next to Gemini 4 Argon.
- Supported Application Interfaces & Versions: Gemini 4 Argon is supported in the Antigravity App (latest version
v2.24.0, listed in the Changelog), **[Antigravity CLI (v1.4.2)] and Antigravity IDE extensions. It is not available in the standalone Antigravity IDE (v2.5.5).
- How to Resolve:
- If your subscription is through a trial, promotion, or partner offer: To unlock Gemini 4 Argon and Claude 5.5, you can switch from a promotional/trial plan to a paid Google AI Pro subscription by submitting an upgrade request.
- If your subscription is directly billed (non-trial): Ensure your Antigravity App is updated to
v2.24.0 (Changelog), sign out of Antigravity completely, and sign back in to refresh your subscription status.
