Gemini 3.8 Flash Agent execution terminated with retryable error

I encountered an error while using Google AI Studio with the Gemini 3.8 Flash model.

The Agent starts running normally, and the interface shows:

Gemini 3.8 Flash
Running for 24s
sparksvg — Working

After approximately 24 seconds, the execution fails with the following error:

Encountered retryable error from model provider: Agent execution terminated due to error.

The same error message is displayed many times.

There is no additional error code, HTTP status code, quota information, or detailed explanation shown in the UI.

The failure occurs while the SparkSVG tool/agent is in the “Working” state. Because the error is reported as a “retryable error from model provider,” I am not sure whether the problem is related to the Gemini model, Agent runtime, SparkSVG tool execution, or a quota/rate-limit issue.
