Claude 3.5/3.7/4 perform very well on agent tasks. Although Preview 0506 is not as strong as Claude, it becomes usable after some PE work. In contrast, versions 0605 and GA perform very poorly on agent tasks and are beyond saving.
OpenRouter has already removed support for the Preview 0506 version, and direct requests to Google often run into 429 errors. As a result, we’ve had to switch back to using Claude.
Would it be possible to resume support for the 0506 version?

Regarding 429 error, follow the below instructions to troubleshoot:
Go to GCP console and click “APIs & Services”. Under Metric, search and select “Generative Language API”.. Under “Quotas & System Limits” tab, check for “Current Usage percentage”
If it reaches 100%, then you have reached your quota limits and hence the 429 Error.
