the grounded response structure as documented at A grounded response is intact but segment end and start indices do not align with response text. In every case that I ran with model gemini-2.5-pro-exp-03-25 resulted in most indices beyond the length of the response.text string. The indices almost seemed to have a len(response.text) offset.
