Gemini 2.5 Flash empty response with URL_Context tool

I am using Gemini 2.5 flash, and the model wouldn’t generate a response ( output token =0 ) when i enable the URL_Context tool. This behavior is random but always exists ( 3/5 AI calls will not have any response)

There is no error, it just doesn’t generate anything.

Please provide the minimal reproducible code snippet so I can test it locally. Also, could you try running your code using the gemini-3-pro-preview model and confirm whether the issue persists?
