Gemini 1.5 Flash Finetuning: Model Stuck in Queue for Extended Period

Hello,

I prepared a structured prompt to finetune Gemini 1.5 Flash. I’ve prepared more than 20 examples which is the minimum requirement, and the platform does seem to accept my finetuning job. However, training gets stuck in the status “In the queue” and “In progress” without moving forward. It’s been like this for over 2 hours so far with no progress.

I’m currently working on a personal project, so I would like to be able to finetune models and experiment with different settings and test examples.

I saw a few similar posts that are older, so I was wondering if a global issue has occurred recently that prevents people from finetuning models, or if something else could be the root cause.

I have exactly the same issue, tried different regions, same results. Many of them fail when they used to work fine.
Google please fix this. What is going on?
