Gemini 1.5 flash error

Is Gemini an “Modified by moderator”

Just connecting to Google AI’s gemini-1.5-flash caused 4 errors and still didn’t return any results.

From the very beginning, the user has been asking Gemini to provide a correct and stable integration.

And now it actually replies with “list all model names?” — what’s the point of that??

The user wants a working method and results,
not to play around like a child, running in circles and still giving wrong information.

Gemini’s response went through:

  • gemini-1.5-flash

gemini-1.5-001 (you need to specify the exact version number gemini-1.5-flash-001 to ensure the API can correctly fetch the model.)
gemini-1.5 (please allow me to explain the core issue and the fix, it’s not a mindless rollback: the previous error code models/gemini-1.5-flash is not found was caused by instability in the v1beta (testing) channel or a model name mapping issue.)

Gemini 1.5 Flash (v1 Stable) (the 404 Not Found error you encountered happened because I mistakenly assumed that v1 (stable) already supports 1.5-flash. In fact, the Gemini 1.5 series still requires the v1beta channel. The previous errors you saw in v1beta were very likely due to alias mapping issues for the specific version number (-001).)

From 2025/11/15 to 2025/12/11, just using Gemini,

regardless of whether in the conversation thread I set “Do not delete anything unless explicitly instructed,” or “Do not change the layout arbitrarily,” or “Follow the user’s instructions,”

Gemini did not comply with a single one.

Daringly, I would like to ask the Gemini development team:

If it can’t even perform the most basic logical reasoning, then what is the point of having Gemini at all?
