Some vague error, “Edit prompt and retry.“
Yes, I have seen the other posts made about this, yet most of them go unanswered or get told to “change your prompt,” which didn’t work for me.
For context, I gave 3.1 pro on 0.8 temp and grounding and URL context a PDF about ~40 MB and told it to transcribe it, but I keep getting this annoying error, and even when I tell it to continue, it either breaks its thinking tool and spills outside the thinking chain or gives me an incomplete response like this.
Note: safety filters are turned off fully, tried with tools enabled & disabled, default temp and otherwise, keep getting the same error every time
And nope, I didn’t hide any malicious instructions in my prompt, didn’t do anything with the safety filters, it just errors out. Every. Single. Time.
I have tried to split it up into batches since I am aware of the token limit, but as you can see in that screenshot, it’s barely over 500 tokens and still errors out.
