Frequent "agent terminated" errors and "Preview" badge discrepancy on AI Ultra Business (Workspace)

Hello,

I am experiencing frequent “agent terminated” errors while using Google Antigravity across various tasks. This issue is quite persistent and often forces me to restart my work.

Additionally, I’ve noticed a discrepancy in the plan badge. On my Google AI Ultra for Business (Workspace) account, it incorrectly shows a “Preview” badge, whereas it does not show this (or shows the paid status correctly) when I access it via a personal Gmail account with the same level of service.

Regarding my previous reports:

  • On my “Always run permission ignored” report, a Google Official (Abhijit_Pramanik) confirmed that engineering is investigating the issue.
    • Another user (MrCurlyMole) corroborated the friction and even shared a custom fix for it.
      However, the “agent terminated” issue and the badge discrepancy are still problematic. Is there a recommended fix or an upcoming update for these?

Update (Apr 09): This stability issue is now resolved in Antigravity v1.22.2

Following up on my report here as well. The persistent “Agent terminated due to an error” issue that was affecting Opus and other models for about a month has been fixed with the latest Antigravity IDE update (v1.22.2).

Key observations:

  • The issue was consistent across multiple models but was especially severe with Claude Opus - it would terminate mid-task repeatedly.
  • The bug lasted for approximately a month (early March through early April 2026).
  • It was definitely an IDE/platform bug, as the update resolved it without any model-side changes.
  • Since updating to v1.22.2, I have had zero agent termination errors across extended sessions.

Note to the team: Please ensure the root cause is documented so this core stability regression doesn’t return in future builds.
