The Google Internal Team is working inactive in this forum.
However, Gemini Flash 8-B is already available in AI Studio and the API.

I mean how long will Flash-8B api be available for? end of life for 8B?
I know it is available on AI Studio!
Sorry for the misunderstanding 
The Flash 8B model is not being deprecated anytime soon. The deprecation notice you can see applies only to Gemini 1, which is set to be deprecated on February 15, 2025.

I received an email on 3/13/2025 with the following which indicates the 8B model will be retired in Sept 2025. I can’t find any information on a new 8B model from Gemini for use after Sept 2025, which is very disappointing.
We’re discontinuing certain Gemini 1.5 models starting May 2025.

- May 27, 2025: Gemini 1.5 Pro 001, Gemini 1.5 Flash 001, and tuned versions of Gemini 1.5 Flash 001.
- September 24, 2025: Gemini 1.5 Pro 002, Gemini 1.5 Flash 002, and Gemini 1.5 Flash-8B 001.
Note: If you use “gemini-1.5-flash” or “gemini-1.5-pro” in your code, these aliases point to “-002” the latest stable model. Hence, it will not be affected until September 24, 2025.
What you need to do
To avoid encountering errors in your models, we encourage you to migrate your affected models to [Gemini 2.0 Flash ].
