It would be very useful to have a context window usage indicator in Antigravity Desktop / IDE.
For example:
Context: 128k / 200k (64%)
Remaining: 72k
Ideally, it should reflect the actual active context after compaction as well.
This would be especially helpful during long coding sessions, so users can know when the conversation is getting close to the context limit and decide whether to continue or start a new conversation.
Great suggestion, and thanks for sharing it. I’ve passed it along to the team.
If you ever use the Antigravity CLI, it already has this. Just type /context and it shows how much of the context window you’re using, split into things like the system prompt, messages, tool calls, and how much space is still free. It only counts what’s actually in the current context.
If anyone else wants this in the Antigravity 2.0 or IDE too, give the original post a . It really does help the team see how many people want it.
