Subject: Feature Request - Optimize Chat Loading using Lazy Loading & Background Context Sync

Hi Gemini Team and Google AI Team hub,

I am experiencing severe lagging and error issues when opening long chat sessions on the app and web. To fix this, I would like to propose a technical solution:

1. Implement “Lazy Loading” to instantly load only the last 5-10 recent messages when opening a chat to prevent the app from freezing.

2. Use “Background Downloading” to gradually sync and process older context in the background while the user is actively chatting.

This approach will dramatically improve loading speeds, maintain connection stability, and prevent context overflow errors.
