I use Gemini Omni frequently for short-form commercial videos, product demonstrations, UGC, and TikTok-style content.
I know Omni 1.1 Flash can now extend videos in 10-second increments up to 40 seconds, which is useful.
However, I would really like to see native single-pass 30-second video generation.
Generating 10 seconds and then extending multiple times is not the same as generating a complete 30-second video from one structured prompt.
For professional video workflows, a native 30-second generation mode would make it much easier to control:
• Product consistency
• Character consistency
• Scene timing
• Camera movement
• Story structure
• Audio continuity
• Precise timestamps such as 0–5s, 5–15s, and 15–30s
This would be especially valuable for advertising, UGC, TikTok, Reels, and other short-form commercial content.
Is native 30-second generation currently on the Gemini Omni roadmap?
If possible, I would love to know whether the team is considering 20s or 30s native generation in a future Omni update.
