Please introduce an official “Connect Gemini Account” option that developers can add to their websites and apps.
For example, a website could offer an AI chatbot with a “Connect your Google AI account” button. Users would sign in and authorize access to their eligible Gemini subscription or usage allowance. They could then chat with Gemini directly inside that website, using its features without requiring the website owner to pay for every API request.
This could enable millions of websites to offer AI-powered features while allowing users to use their existing AI subscriptions across different platforms.
Although this could reduce some API revenue, it could also encourage more people to subscribe to Google AI plans and expand Gemini’s reach through third-party products. Developers could build more freely, users could get more value from their subscriptions, and Google could gain a much larger AI ecosystem.
Please consider providing a secure, standardized integration with user-controlled permissions, usage limits, and straightforward implementation for independent developers and startups.
