The issue where attempting to send a message in AntiGravity results in the “Failed to send” message and conversation stalls completely has reappeared.
Looking at the help page, I saw a discussion about this issue about 10 days ago.
At that time, the official response stated the problem had been resolved in the latest version, but the exact same issue just happened again.
Updating the version didn’t help, nor did the past solution of completely uninstalling the installer, installing the official latest installer, and then installing the app. Restarting the PC also had no effect.
If you ask if I messed with anything weird, I really haven’t done anything out of the ordinary. I hadn’t asked anyone to do anything specific right before this happened; I was just chatting normally when suddenly I couldn’t send messages anymore.
I’m not super tech-savvy with computers, so maybe someone else knows a solution and I just haven’t found it yet…
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Is there a solution?
I’m curious.
Just in case, here’s the current Antigravity version:

We have received reports from several users regarding the ‘Failed to send’ error specifically when utilizing the GPT-OSS 120B (Medium) model. Could you please confirm if this issue is still persisting for you? Additionally, have you observed this behavior exclusively with this model, or does it occur across all models in your environment?
Hey! Also here, ‘Failed to send’ message below the prompt. Just updated to 1.18.3. Also when changing models from 3.1 to any previous, it states they are not available anymore. Is there a workaround?
Update: Changed the mode from Planning to Fast with Gemini 3.1 (Low) and ran a Test prompt that got the agent running. Then changing the mode and model again to 'Planing with Gemini 3.1 Pro fixed it
Happened to me too, and it worked just as you said : change the mode AND the model to Fast Gemini Low, try a prompt, then get back to Planning and Gemini High.
Hello @aecio.rd, @Mercado_Livre welcome to AI Forum!
I just sent messages to GPT-OSS 120B (Medium), Gemini 3.1 Pro (High) and Gemini 3 Flash in my Antigravity setup with latest version and got responses.
Could you please upgrade Antigravity to the latest version from Antigravity download page and also try the work around @Jose_Pulido shared above and let us know if the issue persists?
What happened to Antigravity? On my case, the way with Gemini 3.1 low didn’t work. I’m also tried to restall previous versions and it was useless too. Help guys
