Hi Google team and fellow developers,
I’ve been using Antigravity on the pro plan for less than a month and achieved some good results.
The last 24 hours or so have been absolutely shocking. I’m guessing some poor oversight on a stealth patch that didn’t require a client update.
- The Gemini 3 Flash model constantly overwrites the entire file when making small changes leaving me unable to see the differentials.
- Sometimes I can view the differentials in the thought chain but the file is never actually updated. When questioning the model it says that the replace tool is being flagged and blocked because it is attempting to overwrite the entire file.
- Often the model ‘thinks’ for longer than 60 seconds and then gives an error that the response exceeds the generation limit, even for small changes.
- After getting frustrated with the model it tells me it is swapping to Sonnet 3.5 to complete the task because it is unable to handle the request.
- I’ve found the model is capable of returning the correct code when I ask it to return the code directly in the chat window and not to edit any file.
- I’m not building rocket ships or nuclear reactors. Its just simple front end logic that I could have done myself.
- I would like to continue with Antigravity but without giving myself an aneurysm in the process.
