Is there any content on this forum about derm-foundation? When I press on the link in the pinned“About HAI-DEF” post, it redirects to the general forum.
Relatedly, are there any programs to support researchers interested in exploring/testing/building on derm foundation? Some more guidance on its capabilities, when it is relevant to employ, and how to access/use it would be great!
Hi there, you can find everything about Derm Foundation on the HAI-DEF site: here. However, if you are starting your work, we highly recommend you use MedSigLIP, instead. It’s a more modern architecture, fine-tunable and does really well on skin images.
You may find the shortcuts handy to discover everything about both models.

Thank you so much for sharing this, I am a physician and not a software engineer, so I’m still learning how to orient myself in this space and how to identify the best tool for a particular task, so I appreciate the advice!
