Error (5OO AND 503)

Google Gemini API in make.com just crashed, one second my clients are sending their reports perfectly the next im getting 500 & 503 errors accross all platforms, I use google gemini as a BUSINESS & Im going to have to cancel it & move over to Chat GPT’s 5 version this is UNACCEPTABLE, every month or so theres a crash & AI based businesses take a hit from it, I’d love to speak to someone from google about it & see what they’re actively doing to fix this but it seems all they do is say they’re “working on it” then nothing changes.

Surprised this is the only post about this because I’m also running into the same 500 and 503 errors, but in my case it’s happening through Bubble.io, not Make.

Yeah they’ll never do anything. They’ll ask what is the exact problem(which is kinda obvious when you look at all the topics in the forums) and then after you respond, they ghost you with no follow up at all. But then when someone else ask another type of question, they answer that but never go back on the unanswered discussions.

Same here:

[GoogleGenerativeAI Error]: Error fetching from https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta/models/gemini-2.5-flash:generateContent: [500 Internal Server Error] An internal error has occurred. Please retry or report in https://developers.generativeai.google/guide/troubleshooting

Oh, and if you go to the troubleshooting page and try to report: Surprise, you have nowhere to report

In my case, my API is Tier 1 using Gemini 2.5 Flash, but I tried in aistudio and none of the models worked

This isn’t the first time these same errors have occured & it sucks because overall I would say when Gemini works its the best AI for actual calculations but it breaks every month & thats just not sustainable Im running now having to switch all of my programs over to OpenAI due to these issues

Got the same InternalServerError here. It’s working after a few retries

Its working for me now aswell It just sucks that it happens so often compared to other AI programs out there, this is almost a monthly issue & when you depend on it to run your system it going down for a client sucks
