Deprecation (shutdown) date for gemini-2.5-pro? Conflicting information

Within the docs for ai.google.dev there is ‘No shutdown date announced’:

Within docs.cloud gemini enterprise agent platform docs, there is ‘October 20, 2026’:

We are building using ADK and deploying to GE.

Which date is correct?

Looks like those pages cover different services. The Developer API still says no shutdown date, while the Cloud platform lists October 20.

Do you know which backend your ADK app is calling?

These links are correct. The current state is:

  • There’s no formal deprecation date for Gemini API, although we’re only allowing existing customers to use 2.x & we’ve removed these models from AI Studio.
  • The deprecation date has been announced for Google Cloud.

Hello, In that case, approximately when is the deprecation date for the Ai Studio API in Gemini 2.5pro? I saw a response from the development team in another post stating that Gemini 2.5pro will be discontinued soon.
