Deep Research API not returning any sources

I had problems earlier in the week with interactions getting stuck at in_progress. Now that seems to have been resolved however the responses are coming back with no sources or links to where the information is being pulled from - so it makes it very hard to judge a response/trust it - is anyone else experiencing this?

Exactly the same issue here. It is really frustrating to use the API these days.

I find if i instruct it to return its sources and url and to cite them in line it does this most of the time

Same here. Unsure on how to fix this, but when I have some spare time, I need to test how legitimate the answers are

Yeah I tried that, but then sometimes it also returns two source lists. I guess the system has embedded instructions from Google to cite and create the source list in a specific format, so if we add other instructions in the prompt it might interfere with the system instructions. Not sure though, just my take.

Yep that happens to me too but I find it better than no search result
