Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention. Our engineering team is currently investigating the matter, and we appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution.
I have been facing this issue for over 25 days now. Having to subscribe to other AI coding tools now after having paid google for the whole year. would appreciate if you could resolve the issue. i tried reaching the google one team who have been extremely ineffective so far.
As far as I can say, it seems to be related with a change of email of an authenticated Gmail account (it was working normally until I changed it recently), as Antigravity was telling me that I run out of Claude tokens (when I had never been used for a few days.)
It fixed after changing my Gmail account for authentication, so if you have a Google One subscription and want to be benefited from it, consider making family group and inviting your alternative account.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I completely agree—it seems the core issue lies within identity mapping and account authentication, especially when there are changes to the primary email alias.
As end-users, we are limited in what we can do and see behind the scenes. We can only provide these clues and hope the Google technical team investigates the sync logic between account identities and project resource allocation.
Interestingly, I had considered the Google One Family Group method as my backup plan too! My family members have Google accounts, and I was prepared to invite my alternative account to a family group and then use the account-switching feature in the Antigravity tool (like the one on GitHub) to keep working. I only stopped because I stumbled upon the recovery email verification fix by luck.
It’s a solid ‘plan B’ because, as we’ve both tested, this is clearly an account-level issue rather than a functional bug within the IDE itself (though the IDE’s auth module might be failing to handle these specific account states correctly). Thanks again for adding this to the thread—it gives people a real way forward without risking their primary data!
I’m in the same boat. However, I’ve lost access to my old email address. I’m currently on the Gemini Ultra plan, and I’ve never used “antigravity” before.
I find the antigravity feature to be completely subpar. The sole reason I subscribed to Gemini Ultra was to access it, and I’m hoping you can help me resolve this issue. It’s already been 19 days.
I tried every solution and it’s not working. It’s frustrating that an account issue like this can take over a month to resolve, especially when it’s impacting paying subscribers.
Been trying daily, every support request gets ignored. google support chats cant help since they are not trained on products. been over a month without being able to use the subscription on the account where i bought a year subscription. trying everyday to see if this is resolved or if theres any news on this issue but slowly moving over to claude because of this… Since its unusable and not on our end might be better to cancel subscriptions anyways.
I did not pay 20 dollars a month just to delete my gmail account. All my emails are on it, it is too important. And I am really disappointed that they have fixed this yet. How does this make any sense
It’s been nearly a month and I’m quite disappointed that this remains unresolved. I’d like to know if Google has an official plan or timeline for fixing this bug.
