I also experienced a Gemini API billing bug, and I was suddenly charged $70,000. The official website states that refunds will be made within 48 hours, but the charge still remains in the admin panel. I contacted billing support, but have not received a reply. I was also charged for Gemini 2.5 Pro model and Veo 3 Audio Generation model that I never used. I have never used the 2.5 Pro model before, and I have never even heard of the Veo 3 model.
