Conversation missing and not loading v1.21.9

My conversation is missing after window restart. I tried recovering it with a few methods suggested here but still failed.

So, I updated to 1.21.9 and start a new conversation and before I went to far, I close the app and reopen it, conversation title is there but content is loading forever,

Hey, this just happened to me as well.

The conversations are still in memory though. Open a new general chat, an ask it to “Find and list all the conversation ID’s from the past 2 days”

Then, open a new chat, grab the id for each conversation and ask it to read it, and grab all the context from that Id.

It’s the only workaround I’ve found.

Try staying at a more stable version. For me it is version 1.20.6. Check out my thread below on how to stay at whatever version you want.

How to stay at one version without auto updating the latest version

Here’s a trick I learned to stay at whatever version you are most comfortable without getting auto updated by AG’s latest version. Click settings (gear icon). Click Editor Settings [Screenshot 2026-04-04 012722] Type “update mode” in the search field and select “manual” from the dropdown menu. You need to restart AG before it can take effect. Sometimes require a few restarts. [image] So far, I find the most stable version for AG is version 1.20.6. So I stayed at this version.
