Both toggles under Settings > History are off. Conversation History, off. Knowledge, off. The UI shows them disabled.
But every single conversation still gets the full <conversation_summaries> block injected into the system prompt. 11 recent conversations, titles, timestamps, objectives, all of it. And knowledge item references still show up in the persistent context section telling the agent to “check KI summaries” and “read relevant KI artifacts.”
I confirmed this because the agent itself told me it can see my conversation history and knowledge items. I asked it directly. It listed everything. Both toggles are off.
This is not a cosmetic issue. Those summaries contain project names, objectives, and workflow context that I explicitly opted out of sharing across sessions. The toggle exists for a reason. If it says off, it should be off.
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to Settings > History
-
- Turn off Conversation History
-
- Turn off Knowledge
-
- Start a new conversation
-
- Ask the agent if it can see your past conversations or knowledge items
-
- It will say yes and list them
Can someone on the team confirm whether these toggles actually gate the injection, or if they are just UI placeholders right now?
- It will say yes and list them
