I was playing with the Gemini API Portal and it was giving me great responses, with links and reference. I used the same question on the api in every model, gemini-1.5-flash, Gemini 1.5 Flash-8B, gemini-1.5-pro, gemini-1.0-pro and gemini-1.5-flash-exp-0827
The answers for the API was very far from the WebPortal, how can I get the API prompt to work as the WebPortal?
Welcome to the forum. Does “Gemini API Portal” and later “WebPortal” refer to Gemini.google.com? If yes, the reason you get superior responses there is that Gemini.google.com is a consumer application that uses the Gemini API and other resources to create the results you see.
AI Studio (aistudio.google.com) is also an application that exposes the Gemini API, geared toward developers and without most of the extra supporting tools that Gemini.google.com includes.
