When the agent asks for confirmation before running a command (e.g. a long shell command, or a big code snippet it wants to execute) or presents multiple choice options (e.g. 4 options like “Yes, allow this time” / “Yes, always allow…” / “No, tell the agent what to do instead”), the panel has these issues:
- When an option’s text is long, it expands to the panel’s max width, and the panel needs scrolling to read/compare all options.
- Mouse-wheel scrolling inside the panel is unreliable — hovering over the panel doesn’t consistently let me scroll it, so I can’t reach the remaining options or the Submit/Skip buttons.
- Using Page Down to move past the last option does not reveal the Submit/Skip buttons. Even after maximizing the IDE window to full screen, the buttons stay out of view below the fold.
- This is worst when I want to reject all suggested options and type my own custom instruction instead — after typing, I can’t reliably find Submit, and end up scrolling/paging repeatedly to locate it.
Suggested fix: pin the Submit/Skip buttons to the bottom of the confirmation panel at all times, regardless of scroll position or window size. Also, make each Page Down after the last option step incrementally toward the Submit/Skip buttons (one screen at a time) instead of doing nothing, so keyboard users can always reach them.
