I am using Chirp3 for TTS. I tried all voices in this set. I also tried all voices in Chirp. I was not able to get the voices to laugh for instance like in the multi speaker example. I trie dusing Haha, it didn’t work.
Anyone knows how to bring translate such emotions?
Chirp3 supports natural-sounding TTS but does not yet include expressive controls like emotion modulation, laughter, or multi-speaker-style synthesis.
Adding “Haha” or similar cues won’t generate prosodic variation, as Chirp3 doesn’t interpret such text cues into emotional speech.
If the intention is to have an emotion-rich TTS (e.g., laughter, tone shifts), this is not yet exposed via Chirp3 in AI Studio or API.
