Can gemini 1.5 flash follow the model code pattern (models/gemini-1.5-flash) please?

Not sure why but gemini 1.5 flash comes with the model code “gemini-1.5-flash” while all other models came with “models/…”

what makes 1.5 flash so different that it does not folllow the code pattern?

Hi,
For me, I can still use Gemini 1.5 Flash by specifying “models/gemini-1.5-flash-latest” as the model code. Try using gemini-1.5-flash-latest instead of gemini-1.5-flash. This should ensure that you are able to access and utilize the Gemini 1.5 Flash without any issues.
