I just had this happen to me today, I’m a AI Pro subscriber and using Antigravity it put me on a 7 day rate limit, today that rate limit ended but before I could even use it again it just reset to a new 7 day lockout and tries to get me to use credits (which I did btw) and now it just wants me to upgrade to AI Ultra for $350 Candian per month.
But there is no way in this world that I’m spending $350 per month if there is going to be an infinite lockout bug of the latest model. I’m happy to pay that price but without ANY rate limits at all and definately not interested in paying that price if I can only code for 3-4 days out of every month.
This is happening to me too!! I havent been able to use my paid plan the whole month!! it keeps pushing it away everytime it was supose to be available … it says i reach my quota all the time without even using it! Hey you guys over there owe me a month of pro plan
I have waited 7 days to have the new quota… and today I have just started my app and somehow no more credits wait another one week . I have a pro subscription.
Exact same problem, my pro account was suppose to reset last night at 11:00pm, only to find this morning that this wait time has extended for another 7 days? A very frustrating experience, didn’t want to go back to Open AI due to their recent political stance, but Google is making it very difficult for pro users to use Google Antigravity with their default models.
There should be have been a fix on this already, considering how many people have already reported this.
Depressing to see a company of this sheer size be incapable of offering a stable service. Honestly, the lack of transparency is worse than anything in this world. I’m 100% moving back to Claude.
Hi Chunduriv. Is there any news on when could we expect a fix?
Sorry for the insistence but this is seriously affecting my professional workflow and getting me into trouble with clients, i really like antigravity, but if t he issue persist ill be forced to move to an alternative.
This response is an admission of a unilateral, materially adverse change to the Google AI Pro contract. Framing a 97 percent reduction in service frequency (from a 5-hour refresh to a 168-hour lockout) as an “evolution” for “practical builders” is a direct breach of the terms accepted at the time of subscription.
Breach of Pre-Paid Terms
As a yearly subscriber (pre-paid Sept 2025), my contract guarantees a 5-hour rolling refresh for Gemini 3.1 Pro. Arbitrarily downgrading this to a “baseline quota” with a 7-day lockout—while gating the promised service behind a new AI Ultra tier or additional AI Credits—is a failure to deliver the specific digital content I already purchased.
Violation of Notice Requirements (EU Digital Content Directive)
Under the Google One Terms of Service (Section 4) and the EU Digital Content Directive, materially adverse changes to a paid service require at least 30 days of clear, advance notice. Rebranding a massive service reduction as a “seamless path to scale” does not constitute legal notice. You cannot “evolve” a customer out of the features they have already paid for upfront.
Artificial Scaling Constraints
Claiming that “AI Credits” provide “maximum flexibility” is factually incorrect for pre-paid users. Forcing users to pay for overages to restore a service level that was previously included in their subscription is not “flexibility”—it is a paywall applied to a pre-existing contract.
Conclusion: If Google is unable or unwilling to honor the 5-hour refresh cycle for the remainder of current pre-paid yearly terms, this is a Lack of Conformity. I am not requesting a “seamless path to scale”; I am demanding the fulfillment of the contract I paid for.
I expect an immediate restoration of the 5-hour refresh frequency or a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the subscription year.
They are trying to silently make it pass as an “upgrade”, to make us pay for the Ultra subscription.
It is plainly written here:
”Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models.”
Can we get an update, from google. It has to be a bug, this week within only few hours it reach the limit. And it says another 1 day to reset. It suppose to be 5h right. ?
I’m on day 9 of being locked out. 5 hour reset went to 5 days and then went to 7 for 3.1 pro high low.
Claude was on a 7 day reset and when it did it only reset to 40 percent. Used a few prompts and it drained to 20 percent. Went back to flash. Watched Claude go down to 0 percent on its own and on another 7 day reset.
