I’ve been using batch API with Gemini Flash 2.5 latest. It was working for a few days, but for some reason things start getting backlogged yesterday. I have 9 jobs at BATCH_STATE_RUNNING but its’ been 22+ hours. None of the request within batch has started. Anybody else ran into this?

I’m having the same problem. Currently, about 50 requests are stuck in the BATCH_STATE_RUNNING status.
Google developers, could you please tell me what the issue is and when it will be fixed?

A few of mine eventually got through. The other ones went to expired state.. I have a feeling they’re just backed up. But yeah, frustrating.

I am currently evaluating whether this can be used commercially, but…
The job has been in JOB_STATE_RUNNING for over 24 hours with gemini-flash-lite-latest. I tried switching to gemini-2.5-flash-lite, but it doesn’t seem to make much difference.
Google developers, it would be helpful if you could explain the situation.

I’m also experiencing the same issue with the Batch API. About a dozen jobs have been in BATCH_STATE_RUNNING for over 24 hours without progress. Could Google developers please confirm whether this is a known incident or if a fix is being rolled out?

Same issue here. Several batch jobs stuck in BATCH_STATE_RUNNING for more than 20 hours. None of the requests inside have started processing. Using gemini-2.5-flash-latest. Any updates on the root cause?

Yep, I’m seeing the same thing. My batches have been “running” for over 22 hours too. Tried resubmitting and switching models — no luck. Looks like something is stuck on Google’s side. Hope the devs can shed some light soon.

Bug still be alive.. Also Google Team set it as “resolved” when batch jobs still be bugged on pending. It’s really disgusting how Google treat bussiness partners..

My batches are stuck in PENDING state. I wish there was more transparency from Google or maybe a dashboard to help me troubleshoot this. Why are there no reported outages from Google? This is feeling like a pre GA product.
