Audio input feature missing in Google AI Studio

Hi team,

A few days ago, I noticed that Google AI Studio had an audio input feature — I could directly record or upload an audio clip, and it would automatically convert my speech to text before sending the prompt.

However, when I opened AI Studio recently, I can no longer see this audio option in the interface. Has the audio input feature been removed or temporarily disabled?

If it’s moved somewhere else or available only in specific regions or accounts, could you please clarify the current status of this feature?

Oh okay, got it!

Actually, I was using the Gemini 1.5 Nano (Banana) model earlier, and in that version, the Record Audio option wasn’t available. Now I’ve switched to Gemini 2.5 Pro, and I can see the Record Audio feature there.
