Appeal for Account Suspension: Accidental API Abuse Flag (Shared IP & Quota Monitor)

Appeal for Account Suspension: Accidental API Abuse Flag (Shared IP & Quota Monitor)

To the Google AI / Antigravity Support Team,

I am writing to appeal a recent suspension of three accounts associated with our development team, which were flagged and blocked while we were testing Antigravity and the Gemini 3.1 model.

The affected accounts are:
“Modified by Moderator”

What Happened:

Our team is currently building and testing agentic AI tools, and I provisioned access for three developers to evaluate Gemini 3.1. We inadvertently triggered the automated abuse filters due to two overlapping factors:

  1. Shared Office IP: All three developers were working simultaneously from our Bangalore office. Our ISP does not allocate individual IPs, meaning all requests were routed through a single public IP address.

  2. Quota Checker App (The Root Cause): To keep an eye on our usage during testing, I connected these accounts to a third-party quota checking application configured with a “hot refresh” interval.

I now realize that the combination of rapid, automated polling from the quota checker, multiplexed with three active users on a single IP, perfectly mimicked botnet or scraping behavior and triggered a protective block on your end.

Steps Taken:

This was an oversight on my part regarding how the API monitoring would interact with your security systems. We have completely disabled and removed the hot-refresh quota checker from our workflow. Going forward, we will rely exclusively on the official Google Cloud Console dashboards for monitoring usage.

We are genuinely excited to continue exploring Antigravity for our development stack. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could review this flag and reinstate access for these three IDs so our team can resume testing.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Akshay Joshi
