I am encountering a persistent 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error when attempting my very first API call of the day, suggesting the quota is already exceeded, even after waiting well over 24 hours for a full reset.
I request help in diagnosing why the quota is being consumed or why my key is being blocked.

Technical Details:
1. Project Status: Key is on the Free Tier.
2. Model Used: gemini-2.5-flash-image
3. Usage Check: I have verified my usage in the Google Cloud Console and show minimal/zero usage in the past 24 hours (or since midnight PT, the official reset time).
4. Application: Custom Node.js/Vite application (The Chroma Weaver).
My immediate concern is that I cannot determine what is consuming the quota or if the key itself is restricted or is due to API enablement issues.
Could you please check the status and specific remaining RPD (Requests Per Day) limit for my project and advise on how to proceed?

It seems like you may be hitting a rate limit. You might want to try reducing your input size and see if that helps. Kindly please refer to the official Google documentation for detailed information on Rate Limits.
The issue is persistent and unable to run the app. It gave me the same results as shown above in console - 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED

Could you please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
- Open the GCP Console and navigate to APIs & Services.
- Under Metric, search for and select Generative Language API.
- Go to the Quotas & System Limits tab and review the Current Usage percentage.
If the usage has reached 100%, it means you’ve hit your quota limit, which is likely causing the 429 Error.
