Antigravity is getting worse every update (serious issues)

Title: Antigravity is getting worse every update (serious issues)

I’ve been using Google Antigravity for the last 3 months, and honestly, the last few versions have been extremely frustrating.

I’m facing two major problems consistently:

1. Stuck on “Running” forever

This is beyond annoying at this point.

Whatever I run:

  • terminal commands

  • shell operations

  • Python code

…it just stays on “Running” forever.

No output.
No error.
No logs.
Nothing.

Just stuck indefinitely like the system is dead.

And the same exact code works instantly on my local machine, so this is clearly not a user-side issue.

This completely breaks the purpose of using Antigravity.

2. Quota issue (keeps coming back)

Yes, the quota issue… again and again.

I even shared a “fix” earlier:

  • uninstall

  • clear cache/config

  • install older version

It worked once.

But literally the next day → same problem again.

And many users said it didn’t work for them at all.

So let’s be honest:
this is not a fix, it’s just a temporary workaround at best.

Honestly…

The experience is getting worse with every update.

  • Execution doesn’t work

  • Fixes don’t last

  • Same bugs keep coming back

At this point, it’s not reliable for any real work.

Seriously, what’s going on?

This isn’t some rare edge case.

This is basic functionality:

  • Running code

  • Getting output

And even that is failing.

Every update feels like it introduces new issues instead of fixing existing ones.

To the Google team

Please take this seriously.

This is not a minor inconvenience — this completely blocks development.

At minimum, we need:

  • Proper error messages (not silent “Running” forever)

  • A permanent solution for quota issues

  • Stability across versions

Right now it feels like users are just guessing and trying random fixes.

Anyone else?

Are you also facing:

  • infinite “Running”

  • quota issues that keep coming back

If anyone found an actual working solution, please share.

Because right now, this is just frustrating and unreliable.

If they open-sourced the project, we could all help fix a lot of these problems. Just sayin’…

Yes, I can relate. I still have a few days left on my subscription, so I decided to let Opus run a full code audit to catch bugs. The code audit including the implementation plan plus about 16 fixes ended up consuming nearly 80% of my quota. My usage only dropped from 80% to 40% because the process got stuck running git commands.

Hi Abhijit

Thanks for the contact. Please can we all have a communication ASAP that directly addresses what is going on with the quota issue.

It’s not a fringe issue - literally everyone is experiencing the same thing - basically there is zero 5 hour renewals, no matter what approach is taken.

To offer a solution of spending more money which does not address the core problem, nor offers any reassurance over whether this would even address the core quota problem feels exploitative.

Thanks for passing on this feedback.

Thanks a lot for your response and for sharing this with the internal team :folded_hands:

Really happy that this is being looked into. Antigravity is a very important tool for us, and we rely on it a lot in our daily work.

We just hope it becomes more stable and reliable in the coming updates.

Thanks again!

yup.. im having the same issue of error keep on coming which disrupts my work which then i need to find temporary alternative while waiting for the internal dev team to solve this. Hope u can resolve this fast and also requesting for more generous token for us. Thanks
