Hi everyone,
I am facing an issue with the Google Antigravity extension in Visual Studio 2026 on Windows.
Whenever I send a prompt, the Antigravity chat gets stuck on “Working…” and never returns a response. This happens even when I start a new conversation and send a very simple prompt.
My environment:
-
IDE: Visual Studio 2026
-
Operating System: Windows
-
Extension: Google Antigravity
-
Project: C# WinForms – CourierManagementSystem
Troubleshooting I have already tried:
-
Restarted Visual Studio completely.
-
Opened the project again and started a new Antigravity conversation.
-
Tested with a simple prompt:
Reply with only OK. Do not inspect or modify any files. -
Checked the Antigravity Language Server logs. The logs show that authentication succeeded and the Language Server started successfully.
-
Tested the standalone Antigravity CLI using a simple prompt. It returned
OKsuccessfully, so the CLI appears to work independently.
However, the Antigravity extension inside Visual Studio still remains stuck on “Working…” and does not display any response.
I have attached screenshots of the issue for reference.
Could someone please help me identify the cause and suggest the correct fix?
Could this be related to the extension’s WebView, communication between the extension and the Language Server, or an issue with the current extension version?
Thank you for your help.
