All conversation history lost after updating to 2.0

Hi @Axio_SmpProtect,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please follow these steps to restore your local conversation history:

  1. Copy the User\ Folder Between Legacy and New %APPDATA% Directories:

    • Completely close Antigravity and Antigravity IDE.
    • Press Win + R, type %APPDATA%, and press Enter (AppData\Roaming).
    • Look for the two separate directories: Antigravity and Antigravity IDE. First create a backup copy of both folders, then copy the contents of the User\ folder (globalStorage\, workspaceStorage\) from your legacy directory into the active directory.
    • Also check %USERPROFILE%\.gemini\ (C:\Users\<username>\.gemini\): if your previous brain\ and conversations\ folders are inside antigravity-ide\, copy them into %USERPROFILE%\.gemini\antigravity\.
  2. Rebuild the Summary Index Database (state.vscdb):

    • Open %APPDATA%\Antigravity\User\globalStorage\ (and %APPDATA%\Antigravity IDE\User\globalStorage\), confirm state.vscdb is backed up, and run the following command in Command Prompt to clear the desynced summary key:

      cmd

      sqlite3 “%APPDATA%\Antigravity\User\globalStorage\state.vscdb” “DELETE FROM ItemTable WHERE key=‘antigravityUnifiedStateSync.trajectorySummaries’;”

    • Relaunch the app—it will rescan your local files and automatically rebuild the sidebar history.

  3. Reference Previous Chats Directly Using @:

    • If you need immediate access to your previous scripts or prompts, open a New Conversation, type @, and select the Conversations tab to search and pull in files, rules, or context from your earlier conversations directly.
  4. Update to the Latest Release (v2.14.0):

Please let us know if you continue to face any issues after trying these steps.
