Google AI Studio’s Code Assistant (specifically in Build mode) is taking a long time to begint thinking (~60-80s) and then takes atleast 20 minutes every request to make the desired changes to the project/code.
Anyone else experiencing this? Let me know.
Same issue: so slow it is unworkable. Everything was fine until May 5ish. Since then: UI doesn’t react for 10 mins after entering a prompt, even clicking “enter” doesn’t start the process. Just impossible and very frustrating. I finally gave up on google gemini & AI studio. Have switched to Claude instead. No lags there! Great quality.
