AI Studio Build: Setting Cloud Run GCP deployment region

Hi all

I love AI Studio Build as a no-code development tool but encountered a limitation on the Cloud Run container deployments, which is pretty critical to me.

By default, all deployments deployed through the integrated AI Studio Build capability, are spun up in us-west1. I am an European user and would love to see deployment options according to GCP regions to make sure, the service runs closest to my users and ensuring EU data residency.

Anyone else also affected by this limitation?
Any way to change this or raise a feature request?

I got the same issue/question.
I can not select a region when deploying …

Same problem: there’s no option to select a region for Cloud Run deployment. I’m based in Europe (Belgium).

All my deployments so far default to “us-west1”.

Screenshot see from another user below, i get the same. It is always default to us-west1 like other users describe.

Can anyone from Google please look into this?

Oi please check the Token loading bug, that one still hasn’t been resolved, its been a week I already pinged you an example of a corrupted chat. Its the failed counting token bug for old, long chats.

We’ve got the same issue and really want to be able to select our own region for Cloud Run deployment instead of being forced to use us-west1. We want to keep our data secure and safe and being forced to use other servers for this seems unnecessary considering GCP deployment is international.

Same for us. It is a dealbreaker if it is not possible to defined deployment region to EU.
