Agent Terminated Due to Error after opus 4.6 added

I’m frequently encountering an error when using Gemini 3 Pro (High – Fast). Many of my requests/prompts fail and show the message:

“Agent terminated due to error. You can prompt the model to try again or start a new conversation if the error persists.”

This is happening quite often and is interrupting my workflow.

Details:

  • Model: Gemini 3 Pro (High – Fast)

  • Occurs on: Regular text prompts (not only large or complex ones)

  • Frequency: Very frequent — multiple times per session

  • Behavior: Agent stops mid-response and shows termination error

  • Retrying sometimes works, but often fails again

  • Starting a new chat helps temporarily, but the issue returns

Hello @Yasir_Dev, could you please try the following:

  • Disable all MCP servers and then if it still occurs just give it a restart.

Hi @Abhijit_Pramanik , I dont have any MCP and restart many times, but it’s always happening

@Abhijit_Pramanik did not use any MCP server. but now its working fine if getting any error I’ll update here

Hi @Abhijit_Pramanik let me know where did I monitoring/log my request quota limits? if this is not available then create feature request
