429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED on Antigravity 1.23.2 despite quota showing 1% used — need to stay on 1.x (full IDE)

I’m getting a persistent 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error (going on 3+ days now) when using Antigravity, even though my Gemini usage panel (same Google account, OAuth authentication, Pro plan) shows only 1% used on the daily limit and 0% on the weekly limit. This strongly suggests a backend sync issue between Antigravity’s quota check and the account’s actual usage, rather than real quota exhaustion.

Environment:

  • Antigravity Version: 1.23.2
  • VSCode OSS Version: 1.107.0
  • Commit: 15487b3041e65228cae24980a3f796c905ef582c
  • OS: Linux x64 (Ubuntu 24.04)
  • Auth method: Google account (OAuth), not a manual API key

{
  "error": {
    "code": 429,
    "message": "Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).",
    "status": "RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED"
  }
}

Lo que ya he intentado:

  • He comprobado el panel de uso de Gemini (gemini.google.com/usage): cuota disponible, no agotada (captura de pantalla adjunta).
  • Cerré sesión y volví a Antigravedad.
  • Reinstalación limpia de la versión 1.23.2

Same over here.

Could you fix it?

Hi @Franz_Gonzales ,

Thank you for providing the details.

To resolve this on Ubuntu 24.04:

  1. Install Antigravity 2.x (v2.14):

  2. Reset Onboarding:

    • Open the IDE, press Ctrl+Shift+P, and run:

      text

      Antigravity: Reset Onboarding

    • Sign in with your Pro Google Account to connect to the active 2.x serving gateway.

If the issue still persists, please reach out to us.
