429, 499, 504 Error permanently when trying to use Paid Key

Because some responsible people again claiming that everything is “fixed” and problems are “resolved” i’m again asking to fix those issues. I cant use my API key since 5 days… im permanently stuck with those Error messages, mostly based on “a error occured” (data shows 429, sometimes 499 or 504).

I’m getting charged, but i dont get my benefits. And still i’m reading that its “fixed”…

The communication is just bad, no words about what is “fixed”, no words about that they really work on those problems. It feels very frustrating right now.. and no anwsers from google… not here, not on other platforms about exactly this problem.

Not sure if its the same issue, but I had 12 API Keys that i removed from Google Cloud which seems to have helped, but currently they are updating the Studio so its hard to test it.

Essentially I think Keys were eating up quota up in the backend when i tried to use my API after my free generations were done. Had the Internal Error for the last 5 days as well.

How do you get your API key? Is it via AI studio by linking your credit card?

Get it from AI Studio, then link your billing for paid tier with Google Cloud.

I suggest you enable logging in AI studio billing option. This way, you know what apps using the key and prompt details.
