(Sorry, not sure where to ask this, maybe the wrong place but desperate)
Hi all, this has been happening for weeks, i was hoping it would be resolved but not yet.
I absolutely love and live off Gemini Deep research, 50x my learning and research speeds, and work on a pro account currently (best money in AI I’ve ever spent) and most of the time when i do a deep research report id like to ask a follow up question, which now longer works, it can be as simple as give me the key takeaways from the report or complex, it doesn’t effect the error and there is no prompt pattern when it fails or doesn’t.
Before 3 pro upgrade it worked awesomely having amazing ongoing discussions offering immense value but now if i ask any follow-up question it fails no less then 80% of the time and that’s not an exaggeration, this super valuable ability to keep the convo going around some deep research is essentially gone, see example below.
Another weird thing is before the upgrade you could turn deep research off on follow up questions to indicate you just want to have a normal discussion now based on the report as context, I think, now you cant turn it off at all or it starts a new chat, which just seems like an unnecessary loss but maybe the reason for this issue as maybe all follow up questions are still “deep research” questions causing issues if the question is not speciifc enough? No idea.
Can anybody offer any advice? Is this a known issue? See below example. Thanks
