Your account is not eligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals at this time

Hi Antigravity team,

My Google account appears to be stuck in a verification / eligibility state for Antigravity.

OAuth sign-in succeeds, and my email is authenticated by Google, but Antigravity IDE fails with:

Your account is not eligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals at this time

The standalone Antigravity app also previously reported:

PERMISSION_DENIED (code 403): Verify your account to continue.

Local log details:

  • Time: 2026-09-27 15:15:48
  • Auth state: loginError
  • Error ID: a6b83138-1f50-4d15-8286-122cb6849d5e-14
  • loadCodeAssist traces:
    • 0x4b992387dc******
    • 0xad7ffc26ed2******
    • 0x5ffe0759b1d******
    • 0x49618be7e42******

This seems account-scoped rather than network-scoped. Could someone please check whether my account-side Gemini Code Assist / Antigravity eligibility or verification flag is stuck?

Thanks.

Hi @Cooper_Remund, Welcome to the Forum!

Thanks for reaching out and sharing those logs. The error you’re seeing (“Your account is not eligible” or “PERMISSION_DENIED”) means your account is stuck on a Google-level eligibility check, rather than a bug with the IDE itself.

Here are the most common ways to get this resolved:

  1. Antigravity requires users to be 18+. Double-check that your age is verified at https://myaccount.google.com/age-verification.
  2. Make sure you’re using a standard personal @gmail.com account. If you’re on a Workspace/corporate email, you’ll need to use a personal account or follow our Enterprise setup docs ( Enterprise | Google Antigravity Docs ).
  3. Check that your registered country (at https://policies.google.com/terms) is on our supported regions list ( FAQ | Google Antigravity Docs ).
  4. Once you’ve fixed any of the above, open the Antigravity IDE Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux) and run the command Antigravity: Reset Onboarding. This will clear your stale session and grab fresh authentication tokens.

If you’re still stuck after trying these steps, please let us know and grab your console logs (Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console) so our team can take a closer look!

@Ambati_Rajendra I fllowed the steps but it didn’t work. I am also using a personal Gmail. Age is verified. Reset the Antigravity IDE onboarding and then tried again to login but still same error.

Hi Ambati_Rajendra,

Many thanks for your thorough troubleshooting notes.

I went through the steps you outlined and ran Antigravity: Reset Onboarding.

Everything’s working now; Antigravity is up and running for my account.

I appreciate your help.
