Why Has the Model Quota Refresh Changed from Daily to Every 2 Days?

As a paid Pro user of Antigravity IDE, I’m concerned about the recent changes to model quota refresh times.

Previously, quotas were refreshing much more frequently, and in practice it felt like usage limits were renewed daily or every few hours. Now many models show refresh times of 1-2 days, which is a significant reduction in availability.

For developers who rely on AI models throughout the day, these longer refresh periods create workflow interruptions and make the Pro subscription feel less valuable.

I would appreciate an explanation regarding this update. I discovered an issue on my Pro subscription through what can only be described as an unpleasant surprise—the system updated without so much as a notification. I respectfully recommend implementing a proper advance notification process. It would be a considerable improvement to inform users before rolling out updates, rather than leaving them to discover issues after the fact.

Google .. pulled us again :joy: :joy:

How many 5 hour refreshes of the Gemini models did you get before you saw this message? I got about 10 bars worth of 5 hour refreshes before I saw mine, wondering for you how long.

Or did this happen immediately after running out of your first 5 bars for the week?

Edit: Yall I’m asking because I want to know if you aren’t aware of the weekly limits or if they have baited and switched us. Please respond. Did you use multiple 5 hour refreshes before the multi day refresh appeared?

This has happened to me and I was wondering! This absolutely sucks! I’m on a pro plan and I’m so mad

At this point, I believe is more convenient and cost effective to make your own agent and pay for an api access.
